WHAT IS PILATES
Pilates was originally called Contrology, this was created by Joseph pilates and in 1926 he opened his first studio. Joseph Pilates created 34 fundamental exercises that were aimed to aid coordination of the mind and body. These exercises are the key fundamentals of Mat work Pilates and can be adapted or kept to the original format. Pilates can be adapted for anyone who is interested in doing a class and has no limitations.

How Pilates helps
I have recently qualified in level 3 Mat work Pilates and I will be looking into doing more courses. Pilates has helped me become so much more confident and I now want to give other people the confidence I have found since my Pilates journey started. I am a fully qualified first aider after having done a first aid at work all day training course, the course covered essential first aid skills enabling me to administer first aid if needed during my classes. Teaching Pilates is something that I am so passionate about and I can't wait to spread my passion to others in my classes.
